Integration Specialist – Full-Time
Are you looking to be a key contributor on a start-up-mode, high-energy team? Do you want to work with dynamic clients and transform education in the US? Do you want to help build and implement the next generation of best-in-class education management software products? Are you a natural problem solver with a lets get it done attitude? If so, TeacherMatch wants to hear from you.
TeacherMatch was created for educator, by educators. We have forged both a corporate team and collaborative partnerships that represent some of the highest caliber talent and thinking in the field of K-12 education. In doing so, TeacherMatch offers the benefits of cutting-edge research and a breakthrough process that will make it easier to hire, develop, and strategically manage the best teachers and staff for schools and districts. We are located in the Ravenswood Innovation Corridor, with easy access to both Metra and the CTA Brown Line. As a workplace, TeacherMatch is quick-witted, smart, high energy and informal with people who enjoy laughing together and working hard. The focus is on outcomes with flexibility in how to achieve them.
TeacherMatch works with schools, districts and educational organizations across the United States and Canada. One-part consultant, one-part sales support, the Integrations Specialist will interact with our partners (customers) across the lifecycle of the relationship, from pre-sales/business development through implementation, training and integration.
While working with partners on the front end, the Integrations Specialist will act in a consulting capacity, listening to partner needs and translating that into how our software will be supported and data will be configured to meet those needs. This demands strength in the areas of problem solving, group facilitation, process development, and systems building. Previous experience with, and interest in, high-level technology issues like software/data integration and network topology will be very useful. Additionally, this role may involve training partner districts, customizing systems for partners, creating custom integrations, manipulating data and testing the technology. You will be working with a diverse group of stakeholders and should be extremely comfortable translating technical information in non-technical terms and vice-versa.
Hierarchically speaking, TeacherMatch is an extremely flat organization. We expect this role to morph over time, based on interests and growth plan of the individual. Ongoing work with our client base requires an eye for analytics, strong relationship building, and responsiveness. We sweat the details.
